I can't believe that I am starting a blog. This will not be a blog about my everyday life because I think that even I would be too bored to read that post! I simply want to share observations about this crazy, wonderful, mixed up world that we all call home. I continually find that life around me is so interesting and curious and I look forward to seeing what comes next around the corner. I hope you will join me on my journey and please feel free to add your comments or your own observations as we go.
I love to run, bike, and swim - hence the blog name "Gotta Run" - so please forgive me if I get carried away with sweaty activities. I will attempt to keep these to a minimum. I also love to eat - especially chocolate and sugar - therefore, I do not look like a runner. Oh well, nobody promised that life would be perfect.
Speaking of chocolate and sugar, I saw a man eat his cake first at lunch yesterday! I found this sooooo intriguing for some weird reason. Yes, he ate his salad, the proceeded to eat the cake portion of his dessert, leaving only the icing on the plate. Next, he filled his lunch plate with meat, potatoes, and veggies and proceeded to devour that. With that done, he came back to the icing on the dessert plate! I mean, how cool is that! What does this say about this person - does he take the best that life (and lunch) has to offer? What does this say about me that I cannot stop thinking about this?!
Anyway, I love that God continually provides us with wonderful and amazing sights and sounds each and every day. We just have to stay tuned in and pay attention!
